Lynnville-Sully CSD Parking Lot

Sully, Iowa – Summer 2023 – The school parking lot, plagued by the challenges of crumbling asphalt and pothole-ridden gravel surfacing also faced a significant shortage of parking spaces during school events. These factors lead to an unorganized parking situation. In collaboration with the school, Garden & Associates formulated a strategic layout aimed at maximizing parking spaces within the existing constraints. The transformative process included paving the entire lot with durable concrete and surfacing the area around the bus barn with chip seal to ensure a dust-free environment. This comprehensive approach presented the school with a long-term, maintenance-free solution that will benefit the school community for years to come. The revamped parking area not only effectively addressed the parking shortage but also delivers a more organized and aesthetically pleasing space for all users.
