Brad Uitermarkt has been with the firm since 1996. Beginning as a summer survey assistant, while at Iowa State University, Brad’s roles and responsibilities have evolved over the years. His primary focus is on site planning/development, commercial and residential subdivision projects, and street reconstruction. Brad graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa.
Rick Teed, P.E.

Rick Teed has been with the firm since 2023 and has more than 14 years of engineering experience working on a variety of public improvement projects. He is responsible for engineering design and construction administration on water and wastewater projects, along with other municipal and private improvement projects. Rick graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa.
Austin Smith, P.E.

Austin Smith has been with the firm since 2011. Austin manages the Creston office; he is a native of Creston and is very familiar with the communities in Southwest Iowa. Austin is responsible for engineering design and construction administration on a variety of general municipal, civil, water and wastewater projects. Austin graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa.
Matt Walker, P.E.

Matt Walker has been with the firm since 2009. Matt is native of Oskaloosa; he is responsible for engineering design and construction administration on water and wastewater projects, along with other municipal and private improvement projects. Matt graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa.
Bobby Maddaleno, P.L.S.

Bobby Maddaleno has been with the firm for nine years with over 24 years of experience in the field of land surveying and construction staking. He is responsible for leading the surveying team in topographical, boundary, and retracement surveys, plus construction staking throughout the construction process. Bobby is a Professional Land Surveyor with an A.A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa.
